My Work

I am a Pastoral Counselor, Certified Transformational Life Coach, and Founder of The Life Assignment Coaching & Consulting.

My work sits at the intersection of:

I don’t just help women process what happened.

I help them reclaim their voice, rebuild their lives, and move forward with clarity.

My Story

I know what it means to carry pain that feels too heavy to bear.

I was born with a birth palsy and grew up in a gang-infested community with a mother who was often sick and unavailable. I learned early that life could be unpredictable—and at times, deeply painful.

I became the misfit bookworm.
The one who tried to belong, even if it meant being overlooked or misunderstood.

Music became my sanctuary—the one place I felt seen, valued, and worthy.

But even in that sacred space, betrayal found me.

After five years of marriage to a fellow musician, raising four beautiful children, and ministering through song, I discovered my husband was living a double life.

The devastation was overwhelming.

There were moments I wasn’t sure I would make it through.
If not for my children, I might not have.

 

The Turning Point

In my darkest season, I discovered something that would reshape my life:

Our deepest pain often becomes the doorway to our greatest purpose.

I found myself drawn to a college rooted in a “Purpose-Centered” philosophy. While earning my degree in Human Services, I studied Change Management and developed a life-change project that didn’t just help me survive—

It helped me rebuild.

That process became the foundation for the work I do today.

 

Why This Work Is Different

I don’t believe in rushing people through pain.

And I don’t believe in leaving them there either.

Too often, women are given:

• Space to feel… but no structure to move forward
• Faith language… without room for honesty
• Advice… without understanding the weight they carry

My approach is different.

It is:

• Grounded, not performative
• Honest, not pressured
• Structured, not overwhelming

I don’t just walk with you through what happened.

I help you become who you are on the other side of it.
